Great hostel! Don't worry about the 10 beds room as there's a separation every 2 beds. You will feel very comfortable. Free tea, coffee, one slice of bread, shampoe, soap and internet. And great price. I definitely recomment it.

Excellent value, clean, convenient, with all the bells and whistles at no extra cost (wii, free coffee, maps...). I was there in low season, so a little bit quiet at times. Not that Kyoto is much of a party town anyway.

If you go to Kyoto [ and you should ] this is the place to stay, the location is spot on and the staff are out of control wonderful, its new, clean and affordable, better than many hotels in which I have stayed. Thank you all for a super Japanese experience. G E Fisher

Maybe the best hostel I've stayed at in Japan.The staff makes things (food, internet, lounging, laundry) as convenient and enjoyable as possible for the guests.
