Barcelona Residence in Barcelona, Spanien

We ordered 2 double rooms, but after seeing them (very small, small window to nowhere) we decided to take one big room for 4 people. The room was ok, but the window was right to the street so it was very noisy during the night (cars passing, bar right under the window). So we had to close the window for night, which helps just a little bit, but then it was really hot in the room (just a small fan provided). I waited to grade this because I wanted to see if I heard back from the owner of the place I stayed at, if only for an apology. The place was INFESTED with BEDBUGS. A REAL NIGHTMARE. We were bit, we had to get rid of all our stuff as everything was infested. And not even a sorry from the owner. We paid full price for this place too. Had to leave at 2 AM when we found the bugs crawling all over. DO NOT STAY THERE EVER. HEALTH HAZARD. fanny, from France ~ 2nd Nov 2011

The best part about the hostel was the location. This is more of an apartment so it didn't have the hostel vibe. I stayed with a friend in a double bed that was in a room the size of a walk in closet. The staff was friendly but we only saw them briefly at check in and check out. The room was so small there could only be one person in the room at a time. The room was NOTHING like the photos. The man running this show has bought an apartment and modified it to look like a hotel with three rooms. There was no front desk, no Wi-Fi, no airflow, and NO ROOM to move around!! Un depa mal dividido, sin seguridad de privacidad las personas de otro cuarto pasarn por uno de los cuartos. Puedes usar una nevera y el fregadero pero la cocina no tiene trastes ni cubiertos y no puedes usar la estufa. Los cuartos solo se sierran con un candado fácil de violar que el staf sabe la combinación y entran al cuarto para tender la ropa del hostal. El baño compartido no cierra bien.
