the staff were very informative and helpful. the location isnt very close to main tourist sites, but it is right next to the train station which was more preferable for us. also with free transit cards for all guests, it didnt matter. the location is in a really awesome building, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. the bathrooms could use more frequent cleaning, but were not by any means disgusting. I am dissappoint with the hostel,spacious room ,good size bed for top bonks, not best of accomadation , the places needs an uplift both structure & decor. the staff are friend & helpful. its lonesome @ nite & taken back to far from street.Its in walking distance to main train station. so if u need just to sleep & gain excess to basel & cheap price. then its up to u. Location is awesome! In the central of the city, nearby Central Bahnhof, it's very easy to go in the central of the city. There are big, lighty rooms, very comfort beds! Everything is very nice!!! Nika, from Russia ~ 17th Apr 2011
