Location was near la Rambla, but the street Nou de la Rambla was quite restless and I felt unsafe walking it, we were harrassed with my friend when walking on it during the evening. But there is a metro station near the other end of the street where the hostel is located, so we used that since. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and the hostel was colourful. Rooms were super small and narrow. The breakfast included was really poor (not even coffee...) and the kitchen lacked some equipments. Iitu, from Finland ~ 8th Apr 2012

thanks a lot, enjoyed my stay a lot! arrived early morning and since my bed had not been used the previous night I could get some sleep. They provide locker which you can use with room key card, location great, common room good. Didn't try breakfast. Would stay there again to enjoy fantastic Barcelona! This hostel has everything you will need for your trip. Internet, great breakfast and a knowledgable staff. The hostel is quiet enough for sleeping but wild enough for partying. It´s clean and affordable. The showers are warm and it´s in a prime location. Itºs centrally located near metro stops and the main tourist streets. stay here. cheers David, from USA ~ 8th Jan 2012

The only problem I found with thehostel were the directions on the website of how to get to Be Sound Hostel from El Prat airport. The site says to get off at "Sants Estacio" stop off of RENFE, but the proper name for the stop on the train is "Sants Barna". It got me confused and I ended up not getting off of the train when I was supposed to. Just something to look out for!! Christine, from USA ~ 5th Dec 2011

I had an extremely pleasant stay at Be Sound, the terrace drinks were an excellent start to the night as well as the free sight tours. The staff were extremely helpful and curtious and i would particularly like to mention Elis, she was fabulous at the front desk. Cant thank her more for all the effort she put in. We had a great stay in this hostel. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the staff is friendly and the location directly in the center is perfect. The beds are a bit small, so for tall men it might be too small. You have your own locker with an electronic key, so it's really safe. Wifi and computers are for free use. No locks on the bathroom doors which is really annoying, make sure you check out the rooftop terrace for some mojitos or laying in the sun its awesome, staff were very accommodating and helpful. had a good stay thankyou tom, from Australia ~ 10th Sep 2011
