Beach Hostel was the most run down and dirty hostel we have stayed in on our trip. We were put in a different building from the main hostel ( a block away) in a room called The Couch Room . We did not even have a bed, it was an uncomfortable couch with a gap in the middle. The sheets were old and worn with holes and a few stains. The kitchen sink in our unit was dirty and the walls, although painted bright colours, were also grimy. The location of the hostel was good, and Ladybird was friendly. I had a great time at this hostel. It is just outside of the main city, but an easy ten minute walk. Ladybird is a fantastic host and great to sit and chat with when it is raining! Would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to everyone! Alison, from England ~ 2nd Aug 2011
