The room and the bathroom were always freezing cold, though I asked the staff to turn on the heaters. Then when I came back one evening at 1 a.m. a group of noisy people (I suppose homeless) was waiting in front of the door and came in with me and used the bathrooms and rooms of the hostel. This hostel was classical and traditional German building. Though its old age, hostel was very clean and it was really closed to the station. I traveled all around Germany, and visit about 10 hostels. But this hostel was the best one, not just in Germany, all hostels I've visited. Great :-) JUHYUN, from South Korea ~ 14th Sep 2011

More budget hotel than hostel, it's pretty well out of the center (although easily accessible via a 15 minute tram ride), but very quiet and very cheap. The rooms are clean and well-equipped and while there's not a lot of space to hang out, if you're looking more to exploring the city, this place is perfect! It was strange having to walk through a public restaurant to get to some of the rooms, but well worth the price. The staff is very helpful, but know that the wi-fi is not free (5 Euro/hour)!
