Beijing City Central Youth Hotel in Kuching, China

The location is excellent and that's probably the only good point about this place. From check in to change room to check out I was never happy with the front desk. The tour info desk was pretty helpful though. Cleanliness of the common toilet really need improvement. Most of the guests were Chinese, and you don't really see many foreigners. The bar and common room was quite bad so no one hang out there so forget about meeting other travelers at the hostel. Aishan, from Malaysia ~ 21st Sep 2011

This was the worst hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff is absolutely horrible. They gave my reserved room away and made me pay three times more for a different room. They were smug and not helpful at all. They try to make me pay 35 rmb for a towel. There was nothing good about this hostel. Worst hostel in history zachary, from USA ~ 20th Jul 2011

Had a great experience at the hostel. Nothing like a hostel thought, more like a hotel. You can find it easily from the Beijing Railway across the street. Great location for using the underground rail system, which is easy and I was able to do all the sights accept the Wall using the trains for 2 rmb per trip. Compared to the taxi and bus this is the way to go. Word of warning the bike transport guys will put up 3 fingers and confirm cost at 3 rmb...then try to charge you 300rmb, be tough...
