Management are very thoughtful towards homeless persons Or those who stay And may find themselves homeless Or poteneially may find themselves on the St. The kitchen should be open plan,making a more open and friendly environment It is definitely value for money I would stay again,so close to city,great early walk to city is wonderful,and you see how people really live in 'BOOM TOWN" PERTH Edwina, from Australia ~ 29th May 2012

1. located in china town 2. near blue cat bus stand (free bus) 3. surrounding by all sort of restaurant 3. near pub and club, busy and noisy on friday and saturday night 4. lot of grocery shop 5. bed comfort, just provide fan in room, no good during summer time, will be hot 6. all share toilet but clean, you have to bring your own stuff. 7. can cook in kitchen, provide coffee tea 8. no free wifi or internet. 9. no guest allow to enter 10. calling taxi provided 11. lady staff are rude hock eng, from Malaysia ~ 17th Apr 2012

Room was basic but clean.Hostel is on busy street but room was quiet. Convenient location. Bathrooms looked new and spotless. Hostel seemed quite busy so probably good to book in advance. Friendly, helpful staff. Jennifer, from Australia ~ 1st Dec 2011

Cockroaches everywhere- esepeically the kitchen and dining area.This hostel is appalling- I don't why there are reviews saying otherwise. It's hot, noisy and dirty (especially the kitchen). My bed was broken- it took several days to fix and should never have been given to me in the first place.The carpet looks like it was nicked from a crackhouse. The sanitary bins in the ladies loo were overflowing and the 'TV room' was a joke. You'd be better off homeless than staying at this hole. Amandeep, from England ~ 11th Dec 2011

It would be good if the duvets are sunned or washed regularly. Please notify travelers that they need to bring a small lock for the cupboards. The kitchen is bustling with life and good to meet new people. There's a small bar downstairs too. The sound proofing is excellent: I could barely hear any noise in my room on the 1st floor. Nevertheless, I like the cozy overall feeling, friendly helpful staff and even the creaky floorboards in this old yet charming building. Anni, from Singapore ~ 5th Sep 2011
