CabanaCopa in Venice, Braselien

The location is great and breakfast is not bad neither. I had a good time at the hostel, enjoying the beach and meeting up with travellers. I wish that there was a better equipped kitchen.

Hi & thanks for staying with us, we are glad you had a good time! :) Sorry about the lack of kitchen equipment, but we purchased new ones before the begining of the high season (last November), but some of it was lost, stolen or disposed by the people that stayed with us during the summer. Unfortunately not all the backpackers are as careful with them, as we are sure you would be! :) Hope you stay with us again when our kitchen is better equipped, so that you can cook some tasty Vietnamese food! :) Best regards & safe travels! I spent a7-10 days at CabanaCopa hostel for Rio Carnival and I had a great time. It is a nice place to stay if you want to party. I met lot of people and hopefully lovely roomates. Everything was good, staff, room, atmosphere... except from the breakfast often really light and not so much things to eat, but it is okay because you can buy some juice or cereals and let them in the fridge. CabanaCopa is really nice. Friendly people, super clean! Possible to get tickets to many tours and attractions - the best place to be in Rio, actually I would go to Rio just for this hostel! I would like to thank the staff - Rafael, Jerome, Caroline and Dominika for their always positive attitude and their plentiful tips and advice. I wish every hostel I visit would be like CabanaCopa. Me hospedei por três dias no CabanaCopa e, com certeza ficaria novamente hospedado lá. Está super recomendado. Fui de carro e não precisei pagar estacionamento, porque o hostel está localizado em uma rua fechada com guarita. Sobre estrutura e limpeza, não deixa nem um pouco a desejar em comparação com outros albergues que já fiquei na europa. Café da manhã ok. No quarto, ar condicionado e locker espaçoso. A lot of backpackers stay here so you meet alot of people.They couldn't seem to keep internet working in the 6 days we were there.And I know it's not the hostel's fault, but the kitchen was always left a mess by guests. Bryan, from USA ~ 4th Feb 2012
