I had a great time at Vista al Golfo. It started out when the owner met me directly at my bus and walked me part of the way to the hostel. There I met up with Lily who showed me the rest of the way and gave me a tour of the place. Diego at the desk was one of friendliest people I met on my whole trip. He set me up with all the tours and activities I did while in the area. I had a private room, and it was bigger than I expected, and clean. We enjoyed our stay at Cabinas. Definitely good value for the buck, as we had a pristine room, nicely furnished, with a kitchen, and a deck overlooking the Golf. Close to the supermercado and downtown, but quiet, on an unpaved road. The only downside is that I think the septic system was on the fritz because the kitchen smelled like sewage... this could have been because we were on the first floor. Maybe second floor is better?
