Camellia is a 'good enough' hostel the location is good for getting buses and easily walking to city center, but not close to the university area and nightlife. Rooms are fine, the biggest disappointment was that the staff are not particularly helpful, but perhaps we have been spoiled by excellent hostel staff. Overall there is not a very friendly vibe here compared to many other hostels we've stayed at in China. Nice enough place. Slightly out of the way but the bus routes are easy enough. English can be a bit of a hassle at times but nothing serious. Very much hotel style so you can feel separated from other travelers. Staff were pretty lax at times and it seemed that they were avoiding me whenever I tried to order food. A very nice place to stay. The rooms are nice, new, and clean. They offer reasonably priced breakfast options, and are at a good location. I will be staying there again. Paul, from USA ~ 15th Feb 2011
