Great location in Old Town with access to publc transportation, restaurants, night life and shopping. The staff were welcoming and the facilities met my needs. Darrell, from Canada ~ 1st Jan 2012

Nice building with character. Only problem is there are just two bathrooms on a floor with about 25 people. Good bar and plenty of common areas. Staff are very friendly (especially Paula!). Hostel is right in the main square and there's plenty to see within walking distance. No good lockers in the room (there were ones with broken or damaged locks) but there are small lockers available in the common area. A good place especially for the price (I paid US$10). We had problems with our reservation. The booking sector of the Hostel books us for June instead of July, luckly they had a room for us. Not the same as we booked, but at least wasn't a dorm. The location is great and the views from the private rooms are beautiful. Some rooms can be cold in the winter, the cold wind goes strait in the hostel direction. Terrible. Unconfortable beds. Dirty and broken bathrooms. Some grumpy people in the staff (but not all of them). No lockers (just one old wooden chest in my room, already used). The worse breakfest I ever had. And a real loud party all night long, very close to the rooms. So I took my things and went to another hostel - more expansive but much better - to save my travel.
