Chilllao Youth Hostel in Laos, Laos

Crap hostel. Dirty, bad lighting, TERRIBLE BEDS, no hot water in communal bathroom. Guy smoked pot in dorm room after waking everyone at 11pm, but I suppose this isn't the hostel's fault. Staff were helpful and apologetic when I checked out early. Overall I would NOT recommend this hostel - just turn up and you can find a fantastic guesthouse with a room all to yourself for around $5 US. Thomas, from Australia ~ 5th Feb 2009
