Loved this place! Hands down the best hostel I've stayed at. It's super clean, really homey and comfortable, the staff is awesome, and you get to meet a lot of people. There is a really adorable cat and I wasn't allergic to him at all. There's a tram stop right by the hostel but it's pretty walkable to the city center. Yu, from Taiwan ~ 21st Mar 2012

I loved you guys. You need a plastic spatula in the kitchen, because the teflon pan will get scratched by the metal one. I want to remain cancer free. Also, you should get a couple more NES games. I had a great time in Amsterdam, and I think a lot of that was because I was staying at Cocomama. Their staff is fantastic, and they are extremely well equipped ranging from computers, wifi, kitchen, lounge, entertainment, laundry, bike hire, luggage storage, etc. The whole place was very clean, and the atmosphere in the kitchen and lounge was very friendly. Actually we stay 1 night for 2 night booking at this hotel, i leave my baggage at my room but somebody try to open my baggage padlock, location is good, lack of staff, the staff is very friendly try to show what we should visit in amsterdam, i must checkin at 16 pm cause my room do not ready, amsterdam city is fun Read Owner Comments Kon Lie, from Indonesia ~ 27th Oct 2011

Character, Location, Staff, Cleanliness = Excellent. Great decorations & informative postings set it apart from most. Very close to tram stop with great market & bars walkable, center farther but still walkable or easy tram ride. Staff very friendly w/ great personalities. Well maintained & clean. Security = good with large room lockers, just no staff after hours. Fun = good. Only hostel event was dinner night, at least large common area with computers, dvds, nintendo, books, wifi available.
