Excellent location to all top attractions, like Haga Sofia, Blue Mosque etc.Friendly staff and toilets etc. well cleaned. Skip breakfast, not value for money!Two supermarkets next door. Tramstation 100 m away. Per, from Sweden ~ 28th May 2012

I enjoyed my stay at Cordial House. The dorms are typical of any hostel with bunk beds and the like. The rooms are very clean. The bathroom was decent and had several stalls and showers. The common room was very modern and accommodating. There is free wifi in the common area and everyone was down there at night. This hostel was quiet but there were plenty of people around if you wanted to chat. It is in no way a party hostel, which is exactly what I was looking for. the price drop down so fast, when I booked the room, the price about 18 euros per night in the week-end, 16 euros per night in the week day, after one month, the price only 13 euros per night, after 3 months, the price only 5.2 euros per night, I change the other hostel, better price and breakfast included. I had a somewhat hard time finding the place using a taxi. If you take a taxi, have them drop you off near the Cemberlitas tram station. It was a decent place to stay, but I did have a personal room. Andrea, from USA ~ 4th Nov 2011

location is really great, but we were kind of disappointed with the rest. it was cold, but the heating wasn't working and receptionist didn't even offer extra blanket. in the bathroom we found dirty thongs hanged on the clothes hook... there are better places to stay in istanbul. We stayed at Cordial House only one night and thought that it was more than enough. We had checked the prices in advance already but when we came to the hostel without a booking they asked us for double the amount showed on the internet. When we asked for the lower rate on the internet they refused us and said we had to book it before arriving and wouldn't let us use the wifi to book either.
