Best place to stay in downtown Caracas. Just 100 meters to metro station and nearby historic places of the city. Clean and confortable rooms and common space with a nice TV and lots of movies. Special chapter for the owners Gustavo and Brenda...will make you feel like staying at your best friend's place looking after you in every aspect of your stay there. No puedo decir nada malo de este Hostal. El trato de Gustavo y Brenda es tan familiar que te hacen sentir en casa, ademas te ayudan en todo. Gracias a sus consejos ahorre muchisimo dinero en mi viaje. El Hostal esta en un lugar privilegiado, mejor situacion imposible. Ademas es una zona segura, el desayuno es "acojonante", tienes tu propia caja de seguridad, te prestan un telefono con tarjeta venezolana por si quieres llamarles, esta muy limpio... en fin, un 10! y muchas gracias, Gustavo.

Pros: clean bathroom and dorm, good hot shower, many doors and security box, good breakfast, good TV, helpful staff, even offered me a mobile with local sim card, towels and sheets are changed daily. Cons: pretty expensive when compared to other hostels around the world, however it is the only option in town if u are travelling on a budget. The area, city center, is quite strange at night. A cleaner kitchen would be nice. I would reduce the number of people in the dorm (7) as it is small.

HOLA EN REFERENCIA A TUS “CONTRAS” EXPUESTAS DEBEMOS INFORMARTE QUE ES IMPOSIBLE QUE LO COMPARES CON OTROS ALBERGUES DEL MUNDO, PORQUE EN PRINCIPIO NO EXISTE LA FIGURA DE HOSTALES EN VENEZUELA, SINO DE HOTELES LOS CUALES OSCILAN ENTRE LOS 50$ (MINIMO)A LOS 130$ POR NOCHE CUANDO SON 5 ESTRELLAS, EN ESTE SENTIDO SI COMPARAS UNA NOCHE EN NUESTRO HOSTAL A LA QUE PUDIERAS PAGAR EN UN HOTEL SENCILLO (QUE ES LO UNICO QUE PUEDES CONSEGUIR EN VENEZUELA) EL HOSPEDAJE TE RESULTA ECONOMICO PORQUE TE INCLUYE UN DESAYUNO FRESCO, VARIADO Y EXQUISITO, TOALLAS LIMPIAS TODOS LOS DIAS, JABON, DIVERSIDAD DE MAPAS, TELEFONO, ASESORAMIENTO TURISTICO (SIN COSTO EXTRA), SERVICIOS DE CALIDAD QUE NO CONSIGUIRIAS EN NINGUN HOTEL 5 ESTRELLAS. LA COMPARACION NO PUEDES HACERLA CON OTROS ALBERGUES DEL MUNDO PORQUE CADA PAIS TIENE SU ECONOMIA, CAMBIOS MONETARIOS Y COYUNTURAS DIFERENTES A OTROS (IMPOSIBLE HACER ESTE TIPO DE COMPARACION), EN CONCLUSION TE INVITO A COMPARAR PRECIOS EN CARACAS Y CALIDAD Y VERAS QUE EL PRECIO SE QUEDA PEQUEÑO CON LA CALIDAD DE SERVICIO PRESTADA. EN CUANTO A LA UBICACIÓN, ESTAMOS EN PLENO CENTRO TURISTICO DE LA CAPITAL, DONDE HAY MUCHAS INSTITUCIONES DEL ESTADO, BANCOS, UNIVERSIDADES, COMERCIOS, EMPRESAS, ETC…POR LO TANTO EN LA NOCHE EN NINGUN LUGAR DE CARACAS, INCLUYENDO ÉSTA VERAS MUCHO MOVIMIENTO DE PERSONAS EN LA NOCHE SALVO EN LAS DISCOTECAS Y RESTAURANTES QUE ES LO UNICO QUE PERMANECERA ABIERTO EN LAS NOCHES, DE HECHO HASTA LOS MOMENTOS TODOS LOS TURISTAS SE HAN SENTIDO SEGUROS Y TRANQUILOS EN EL HOSTAL. EN CUANTO A LA COCINA, SIEMPRE GARANTIZAMOS LA LIMPIEZA NO SOLO DE ESTA PARTE DEL HOSTAL SI NO DE TODO EL ALBERGUE, POR LO QUE ES BIEN EXTRAÑO ESTE COMENTARIO, DEDUZCO LA VISTE JUSTO AL TERMINAR EL GRAN DESAYUNO DE CADA DIA, QUE POR LOGICA LA COCINA AL TERMINAR DE USARLA QUEDA SUCIA Y CUANDO USTEDES TERMINAN DE DESAYUNAR SIEMPRE SE RECOGE TODO Y SE LIMPIA TOTALMENTE LA MISMA. Y USTEDES MISMOS TIENEN LA OPORTUNIDAD DE VERIFICAR CUANDO SE COCINA, Y SI HUBIESE ESTADO SUCIA COMO LO DICES NUNCA HUBIESES DESAYUNADO POR HIGIENE, COSA QUE NO FUE ASI. YA PARA TERMINAR EL DORMITORIO ES COMPARTIDO COSA QUE A USTEDES LES QUEDA CLARO DESDE QUE NOS UBICAN EN LA PAGINA, ANTES DE CONTRATARNOS TODA LA INFORMACION SE LES DA (PARA QUE LA LEAN) POR LO QUE NO CREO SEA DEL ASOMBRO DE USTEDES ENTERARSE DE QUE ES UN ALBERGUE PEQUEÑO, CON TODAS LAS COMODIDADES PERO MUY ACOGEDOR.
