We had a really great stay here. We stayed in a double room with private bathroom, and it would have been one of the best we have stayed in during our 7 mths of travelling. Make sure you ask for a room- not in the main house- they are bigger. My one gripe is, that they are really strict with the heating, and they will try and charge you if you use the heating above your allowed hours- though they never explain this to you, when you check in. Donde Germain Hostel is a great place to stay. They are actually building a new hostel in town (Brasil St) which will be ready for next summer so they are currently located slightly out of town but only a 10 minute walk to the main street (and there is a large supermarket around the corner so very convenient). The kitchen and common area is large, they have free WI-FI and the hostel is very clean. Donde Gernam es el mejor de todos Hestels in que hemos vivido. Amable, familiar, el el lugar cerca de centro, la casa en estilo de paisaje. No queriamos salir este Hostal. Una alabanza grande Gracias! Manfred, from Germany ~ 17th Mar 2009

Clean, warm, inviting space with a large backyard, although its current location will add 5 to 10 minutes to your walk into town. Staff is almost invisible, which can be cool because it almost feels like you're staying in someone's home, not a hostel. Although one item of laundary packed hasn´t come (probabely by mistake) and I noticed too late, this hostel is great mainly because German the owner is also an excelent guide for going to the top of the volcano, he made our day there exceptional. moty, from Israel ~ 20th Feb 2009

This was without a doubt the best hostel I've ever stayed in. It's very clean, modern, cosy and all services are provided. You won't even have to venture outside the hostel to make the most of Pucón. The hostel can organise the best trips to make the most of the location, including Volcano excursions. David, from England ~ 24th Dec 2008
