Best hostel i've stayed in in N-Z, for sure! The beds are amazing, super comfy lounge room, fast internet (not free tho). Matt was a great host who isn't afraid to come sit down for a chat with his guests. thx guys, had a great time :) Karel, from Belgium ~ 1st Jun 2012

Nathan and Sally were very helpful and friendly.I started with just me but we ended up bring 15 of my mates.they made us welcome.good kitchen.Nice living area.Great deck overlooking bay.Near everything.Great place. So much better than Aldephi. Francisco, from USA ~ 1st May 2012

Nathan was the perfect host, friendly, helpful, chatty and just an awesome guy! My and friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there with him, we stayed for three nights and could quite easily have stayed longer.. He did his best to ensure we had a fab stay and encouraged me to go swimming with dolphins!! Definately the right choice- AMAZING! Will be returning to the fish tank lodge when i return to NZ. Rooms on the top floor had tonnes of natural light and clean. Ground floor rooms not as bright but still clean. Clean kitchen, showers and toilets. Nathan was very helpful and accommodating. Letting us know of things to do and trying to sort out issues we had that were not evenwith the hostel. Great spot (right at the isite) although a little far from the big grocery store New World.
