Staff was fine, neighbourhood where hostel is located was littered, lots of men hang around without jobs (I guess). Anyway, when you just use your head and don't flash your wallet there is no problem. My socks were rootblack from walking around on the floor in the sleepingroom for just 10 sec already, cleanliness could be improved by taking more effort. This was my second time to stay at Friend's, and I have been satisfied in both cases. The hostel is a bit unfortunately located, however, as there is a lot of illegal trade going on outside the door, which brings with it a dodgy, but mostly harmless, crowd. This being said, I never fear for my personal safety, as it is literally 20 meter from metro exit to hostel door and there's always people around! In the website apear that they had parking, we drove until there and the parking was a public one, so we had to pay for the three days we stayed. The room was very old and with not much light with a broken chair. The common room hasn´t got windows and for me it was too small. If I could I would pay a bit more and I would go to another place.
