It´s a perfect hostel really - helpful staff, a pool, pool table, bar with happy hour, nice breakfast, hammocks and a really nice vibe. We thought it was a bit closer to the beach though, it´s a fair walk to the nearest one. It´s pretty well connected to everything by bus though, so you can get to Lagoa/beaches quite easlily - bus stop is about 5 minutes walk away David, from Ireland ~ 16th Feb 2012

Great hostel! The staff is really awesome! They are helpfull in every way. Good breakfast and the owner cooks almost every night and you can eat a lot of food for only 10 reais. Maarten, from Netherlands ~ 20th Jan 2012

There is a very good vib in this hostel and the owner are amazingly nice and helpfull! I strongly recommend the asado prepared by them, which is delicious and in a huge quantity! There is just one negative point which is not so negative actually for the price.. it is a bit far for going out by night since there are no night buses and it is far from the clubs and the bars..
