The location is great. Just outside the hostel is the Li River, and anytime of day there are dozens of people swimming and fording the river to the other side. There is also karaoke across the river every evening, and you can see crowds of locals playing cards and majong right outside the hostel. Friendly staff, and rooms are clean and good-value. There is a common room with couches in the lobby, so I'm not sure what all these comments regarding no common space are all about. True, it's not exactly a bar atmosphere, but I'm not interested in that anyway. Wendy, from USA ~ 25th May 2009
