Happy Inn Lodge in Interlaken, Switzerland

Mainly a bar that runs a hostel business on the side, but it was a nice place to have a drink at night. They can book any type of sporting activity that you would like to do though, which is nice! Not loud at all... bar seems to close around 12 everynight. Rachael, from USA ~ 12th Aug 2009

The showers were extremely tiny and mine was practically overflowing quickly... it is quite loud because you´re located right over the bar and the rooms were quite hot. For the most part, a decent budget place to stay. The staff was pleasant and helped us book outdoor activities, although the woman that runs the bar in the mornings yelled at us several times for trying to turn our key in when the bar was closed during the day or something--it was never really explained to us. The showers and bathrooms are clean, although our private room had long black hairs in it (we are blonde and brunette) that were never removed during our stay. Very close to Interlaken West station and supermarket. Hot water is enough even at 10 p.m. The most inportant thing is, staff is very friendly and full of passion!! Yi-Chi, from Taiwan ~ 13th May 2009

Heating doesn't reach the top most floor room/bathroom(hot water) could be due to it being central heating system,the hot water doesn't reach up.can be very bad in winter. Except the above this is a nice comfortable place to be. satish, from India ~ 13th May 2009
