the staff was not being very cordial with us. There were 3 people, so they should have been able to take in charge 2 different people. Were not even able to do so. We booked online, but they couldn't find our reservation so they wanted to change our rooms. Plus, they didn't made the deduction of the fares we already paid online, so we had to pay full. Still, compared to many ohter hotels in Nanjing this place is quite cheaper and cleaner than the average. Noémie, from France ~ 7th Apr 2012

My room did not have a window which was not a problem. For what we pay for it was good value. To get to the hostel, catch the Metro (Line 1) to Xuan Wu Men (where the Xuan Wu Lu, Lake is). Exit the Metro using the "Xuan Wu Hu Exit". You will face a very busy road called Zhongshan Lu. Walk to your left for a block (a big block, about 3 to 5 minutes) then you will come to a set of lights. Walk 300 metres to your left at the lights where there is a sign for "Hunting Hi Inn" and a small supermar Simon, from Australia ~ 5th Feb 2012

I stayed in a sinlge room, shared bathroom. Bathroom was really clean, bedroom was comfortable enough. Location is pretty good, most things of note are easily and quickly reachable. Most signs and explanations in the hostel are in Chinese only, so if you don't read/speak Chinese it may be a little difficult to get by. Remco, from Netherlands ~ 3rd Oct 2011

Decent size room with pretty nice bed and shower although the toilet was quite foul. The place seems like they are almost there but lacks the details. Example, the carpet in the hall to our room had giant stains nearly the entire length. Plan on being self sufficient if you don't speak Mandarin. Donald, from USA ~ 31st Jul 2011
