We booked a five bed family room on Hostels.com, arrived got our key and were sent to a room without a lock, just a big hole. We pushed the door opened, a horrible smell came surprised us, and there was a man sleeping in one of (our) beds. He just said that we couldn't stay there. Instead they tried to to divide us up, 4 of us in one room, and 1 alone, saying that they would fix everything the next day. If you stay in your room, this place is okay. Once you leave, the whole staff is tasked with trying to sell you add-ons. They're just as bad as the tuk-tuk drivers. "Going to Angkor Wat tomorrow? What about the next day? What about the day after that?" They outright lied about the bus I booked to Bangkok through them and said it was a VIP bus after the border. Their overseas calls are much more expensive than using the internet cafe down the road, but they do that lovely trick where the Cole, from USA ~ 8th Nov 2011
