Hey, had a great time at Volcanes. Was here for a conference at the Archaeology Museum, so the location was perfect, neighborhood seemed safe, felt really at home here actually; Byron, Yader, and Marisol were really a pleasure to chat with, extremely friendly and accommodating, and the price was right. I booked a bed in this hostel but when I arrived I was told they were full so they shoved me over to a nearby newly built hostel. I was the only one there so there wasn't much to do. Eaman, from Iran ~ 30th Jun 2009

I think anyone who is used to central American hostels and character will be fine here. Jader (How to spell his name?) is excellent, a real machine when is comes to getting you around the city, advice, and so forth. But the noise in the morning can be a bit much.
