Ria de Bilbao in Casablanca, Spanien

Some of the other reviews slightly exaggerate the distance to the city and the 'poor' location. The nearest bridge over the river is 6 minutes walk away (we timed it) and it takes approximately 15 minutes to get the the Guggenheim. We comfortably walked to the Guggenheim, the old city, all around Bilbao central and back again in afternoon without a problem. Would definitely go back there again. This is a nice little hotel in a part of Bilbao that is just beginning to be renovated.Jose Mari and Marisol are very nice and helpful people. We are walkers, and it was actually run to walk all over Bilbao from the hotel, but it is quite a slog crom the metro with bags. Very clean, ample breakfast, no hassle place.
