It's a good place to stay. The staff is friendly and the beds seemed clean. The showerhead in the shower that I used, however, was blocked and the water came out weird so that I had a hard time with washing. I also couldn't stay in there long because the drain was clogged and the water would have overflowed the shower space. Overall though, a good place to stay and very close to the Vatican with people who are knowledgeable and can help you find your way in Rome. Lauren, from USA ~ 7th Apr 2012

People working here at Happy Days are super nice and give extra advise about what to visit. Bedrooms are good, everything is clean, only problem is that there is no curtain in the bedroom so the light is there all night, showers do not work... there is water, but the stream is poor ...but if you are traveling for few days, like us this is not the biggest deal.. Other than the showers I liked it very much, location excellent, there is a kitchen, PC to use... anytime... def. good for the price Karolina, from Czech Republic ~ 3rd Apr 2012

No receipt, no key so you have to ring every time you want to get in. It's like a big party every night with very loud music until midnight. There are only 4 lockers for 10 people in each room. On the second night, the manager decided to switch our room. As we came back to the hotel our stuff had been moved but not properly so we nearly lost my brother's bag. It was a nice enough place...but the staff was kind of creepy and did not seem interested in helping out. If you want to use a locker you have to bring your own lock (nothing of ours got stolen even though we did not use these) and the bathrooms were disgusting. That being said...a lot of places are really expensive in Rome, which is the only reasonI say it is average value...and the conditions were still livable. Una, from USA ~ 7th Mar 2012

I came there at night very late, they told me they have no room for me asking me to take metro to Mamamia hostel where they are not so sure if there are rooms for me. I knew it take more than 1 hour to come there, they told me only 10mins. They are very rude to me while I was in a difficult condition.(it was late night, and I'm girl alone). Everything happened so ridiculous,I just gave up my money and changed another Hostel. Later I saw they have serious problems of Bed bugs! Horribl TIAN, from France ~ 5th Jan 2012
