Hostel Linda City Centre in Amsterdam, Netherlands

This hostel serves as a lesson to book hostels a couple days in advance, especially in big cities like Amsterdam. Wasn't terrible or dirty, but very lacking in character and life, and a 20-25 minute walk from the center of town. Wasn't really a hostel, just a place to sleep. Gordon, from USA ~ 15th Jul 2009

Linda City Centre is walkable to the main part of town, but not really in the action if you're looking for a good location. If you have bad knees, not the place for you, the stairs are like at a 90 degree angle and there's a lot of them. Otherwise, its pretty good, free breakfast is a definite plus and TVs and couches/small kitchen in rooms. Catherine, from USA ~ 10th Jun 2009

The hostel was far the best i have stayed in so far. The staff was good and easy to talk to. The rooms were clean and even the 10 person dorm seemed nice to sleep in. The location is great for the Heinenken Brewery. 5 min walk away. its a god 10 - 15 min walk to the main square. but over all ill stay there everytime i visit Nathan, from USA ~ 28th May 2009
