Currently the site is under renovation. The staff is very nice - but they understand only little English. Due to some organizatorial problems we had no bed-sheets and breakfast was available only 1 hour after the advertised time, i.e. when we had to leave to catch our flight. Manaus is a shithole. But the hostel was nice. The location was not the best, but definitly nothing to worry about. The breakfast was not good. The staff was really friendly though and very helpful. Rose Marie Balslev, from Denmark ~ 6th May 2011

The hostel's communal area is great for socialising and meeting other travellers, and the location means it's fairly central for the town. However, there have been other hostels I have stayed in at the same price and found cleaner. Dhiren, from England ~ 28th Feb 2011
