Hostel Rosemary in Prague, Czech Republic

This place is pretty cool. Its basically like an apartment. Very unique arrangement. Its a bit strange getting in, you need to get past two public doors then you are given two access codes to get into the room, and the common room has a key to itself. The internet was pretty slow and no wi-fi or breakfast. But it was really cheap and you get a lot for what you pay for.

Hello, breakfast is now available for extra cost. And wifi is coming soon...during the begining of November it should be all set and working. Thank you

Perfect place to stay while in Prague! Very central, clean and safe, the rooms are big and bright, and the staff are so nice that you can't believe you are in Czech. As a bonus, an excellent gym shares the same floor as the hostel so you won't miss your work-out... From now on, this is the only place I'm gonna stay whenever I am in Prague. We LOVED this hostel! It was easily the best place we stayed in our travels. It was conveniently located, clean, the staff were quite helpful, and we were able to choose to indulge in a sense of privacy or to be social with the other guests without a problem (except when we felt social and no one else was around - haha!). It was a little more expensive than the other places we stayed, but totally worth it. It was also nice that the guest to bathroom ratio was small enough that we didn't have Jennifer, from USA ~ 9th Aug 2009

With all due respect to people who rated this hostel hightly (the reason I chose it), I have to say that out of all the hostels I've stayed in in many different places, this was the worst one. The receptionists were rude. We had to move the next day from our 2-bed room to a much worse one because of their mistake, and there wasn't even an apology. The common area/kitchen is under lock, so you have to go to reception every time. I'd say more if there was space. Check other places in Prague! Yaroslava, from USA ~ 28th Jun 2009

Very clean. The rooms were spacious. Easy walk to main train station and 3 minutes from wencelas, 10 minutes from old town square. We enjoyed our stay! Renae, from USA ~ 3rd Jun 2009
