Hostel Sampaoli in Siena, Italien

we appreciated the towels and linens. price was good. hotel staff friendly. wifi didn't work throughout our stay though todd, from USA ~ 27th Oct 2011

Avoid as there is a good chance that you will end up 2pm further outside the city. I arrived to find that the hostel had been over booked - not just for me but for 4 different groups, I was sent to a place 15mins further walk away where the accom was very nasty and it was in a dead area, no shops, bars, resturaunts without walking 10mins back in. This seems to be common practice for the hostel as a few nights later I got talking to some girls from the US and they had the same thing happen to the Mark, from Ireland ~ 8th Jun 2011

The old bait and switch- we booked a hostel that looked clean and colorful and closer to the main area of attractions but once we got there, they told us that the "management" was being transferred to a new place that was another 20 minutes walk from our original booking location. We get there and our room looked like a jail cell- the shower, sink, and baday was not covered. The bed was uncomfortable. We stayed at a lot of hostels and this one was by far the worst one.
