It's a guesthouse with mostly private rooms, not a hostel with common areas. The owners are really kind and helpful. It's 15 minutes walking to Bascarsija. Very clean, big rooms and great value for the money. Easy to park the car in front of the guest house. Sergio, from Spain ~ 9th Apr 2012

It was the most comfortable hostel I have ever stayed. Location, hosting, bathroom etc was perfect. If you go by car, parking may be a problem but there is a closed garage near the hostel. You can park there at a cost of 6 € for one day. Metin, from Turkey ~ 4th Sep 2011

Real friendly owner, had great conversation with him. Place is more like a guesthouse then a hostel, with no real common area. I know its Banja Luka where crime is low, but the hostel door is always open, even during the night, may be strange to some guests. Overall recommended. Samuel, from USA ~ 29th Jul 2011

the Skend hostel was excellent in all categories. The owner are a very nice couple who where very kind with us and had diverse types of attentions with us.
