The location is excellent right in the centro. Very close to all transport. Not the best location for extended stay or if you want to be in Recoleta or Palermo. Had some screw up with the reservation. Do confirm before arrival. Overall, a decent place to stay, but not the best. Breakfast is almost inedible. Only two small pieces of buns and coffee, juice. Better to eat outside.

HI had a lot of fun in Buenos Aires and a big part of it was that I lived in a a very friendly and helpful environment while visiting a foreign country with a foreign tongue. The hostel is centrally located so it's easy to get around by subte or cab, but the microcenter lacks the character and local bars of other neighborhoods I visited in BA. I stayed in a double room/single bed and those rooms were larger and nicer than the double room/2 beds that my friends stayed in. Ask for a room with a window-it makes all the difference when it's hot! I never had a problem getting buzzed in and out of the building-it makes it more secure, although one employee was militant

Very nice and clean hostel, especially like the bar area next to the reception, met very nice people and played a lot of pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I stayed in the hostel for more than 2 weeks and I can recommend the hostel for anyone going to Buenos Aires.

Located RIGHT downtown. EXCELLENT location. Could not ask for better. Stayed in a private 2 bed room, on the 5th floor. VERY quiet. No problems with noise. Main rooms was EXTREMELY noisy all day and night, so, I guess if you were close to that it might be noisy. Bathroom was clean and had hot water. You buzz to get in, but you have to leave your key at the front desk every time you leave and they don't check your ID, so, I was worried anyone could ask for your room key. Had no problems though. S
