This hostel has a lot of good reviews, and certainly a good location! But unfortunately it's not fun at all. The staff is boring and does nothing to encourage resident interaction. The common room was just a bunch of people sitting around hot (no air conditioning) watching Seinfeld and not talking to each other. If you're looking for a bed to crash in and then exploring the city, this place can work. Otherwise, if you want a social time, look elsewhere. Read Owner Comments Alexander, from USA ~ 16th May 2012

I don't know why people don't write more reviews on where they stay when travelling, but with that said this was excellent on all accounts. I've stayed in many hostels and budget hotels and this goes on my list of favourites being a world traveller since 1989. This place is a GEM and should definitely be on your itinerary. Daniel is extremely helpful with info on surfing and things to do in the area. Located near all the happening bars and restaurants, there's always something to do and within a short walk.The hostel is extremely clean and the beds are top quality. The pool nestled in the back was perfect to lounge in and have a cold beer. From already traveling for awhile it was nice to stay somewhere so relaxing and with such a great atmosphere! Dan and his team are simply brilliant. I was immediately made to feel welcome and enjoyed my stay with this hostel. Having used several hostels in Panama, this was by far the best. The beds are comfy and the place is clean - the pool makes this place a great little paradise in a crazy busy city. Would stay here again in a flash. Highly recommended. This hostel is one of the best places I have ever found! It's the perfect size to meet people, it's clean, comfortable and safe, it's got lovely sofas and a swimming pool. Location is fabulous with so many restaurants and bars within a couple of blocks. The owner Dan is wonderful and makes you feel at home.
