The worst hostel ever. When we arrived, there was nobody there so we had to find the number and call the staff that told us how to get into our room. We did not have a kitchen for the first days neither did we have soap or toilet paper the first days. The office is closed weekends. The staff was not very service minded. No one after 5PM to receive us, just a phone number to call : but what do you do if you have no phone ? We bought a complete room (4 beds) but the door room didnot close with key (they gave us a key but it was not working) and as there is nobody to complain to... The price on the website is not the one they charge you with (they add some kind of taxes) : for instance we paid $ 61 instead of $ 54 remaining to pay according to Hostel.com : so : not satisfied at all !!! Breakfast doesn't exist at 9 AM its on lunch time, just toast bread and coffee . Office is open around 1130 not from 10. Roms inside looks good. Kitchen has everything needed. Pros: The best location, sooo close to the beach ! The best prices ! Wonderful housekeepers ! Every appartment has its own kitchen... Cons: The people at the office don't seem to take their job very seriously - you really have to ask them 5 times for everything - and the check-in didn't work too well, either... The hostel is realy very nice. It is situated 200m from the nice beach and 400m from the nearest shops. The rooms are very clean and big. There is a bathroom, sat TV, aircondition, WIFI connection, fridge and small kitchen in each of them. In price is included the small breakfast. Staff is very nice too. Though several people around me weren't thrilled with the location being far away from South Beach (and made this clear in no uncertain terms and 5 different people moved to South Beach), I disagreed almost totally and think the location is plenty acceptable, fine, quiet, and convenient to other things. This is NOT a bad location of Miami, quite the opposite. South Beach can be noisy, grimy, stressful, and out of control sometimes at 4 am; this is a better base. North Shore Park and Beach are al Miles, from USA ~ 1st Aug 2009
