The staff wasn't always at the front desk. I had to search them or come later again. The Location is a bit outside of downtown. The prices for a night are higher than usual. My sinus got to really bothering me there. I think maybe the air conditioning filter needed changing. It's by a lake, and it may build up frequently with mold. It had a wonderful "family" atmosphere and very helpful staff. Karaoke may be good on nice weekends around the couches. People at the same time could introduce themselves and where they are from. When I had a prob with the TV, the staff came right up - but good written instructions would have been better. Good experience overall. Gary, from USA ~ 26th Mar 2012

HAD SOME FOOD BROKEN INTO AND MY JUICE NOTICEABLY TAMPERED WITH REPLAY OF THE TAPES WOULD HAVE CAUGHT THE CULPRIT AND MADE STAY UNCOMFORTABLE BUT PREVENTION IS THE BEST OPTION . A really nice hostel with lots of character looking out at Ladybird Lake and relatively (although not walking distance) close to the SoCo and downtown. Lots of space, comfortable. The restrooms are smelly. My room was smelling like wet dog on the second day. Also there many weird people. The price was good, the staff is awesome. There is a supermarketby 10 min. walking. Excepting the cleanliness everything was ok Leonardo, from Brazil ~ 13th Nov 2011

This hostel always a lot guests, because here is very good hostel i think. Beautiful view from lounge. some time pizza party or spaghetti party about ＄3.cold filter water. but inter net was so slow when some people useing inter net.I couldn't see even Youtube.so I use internet wake up early or deep night.
