As hostel is a little expensive, as hotel is really cheap. This hotel is a little difficult to reach from JR Nara Station but it's worth of; because it is real close to major sightseeing places in Nara. The staff is very helpful and kind, but it's a pity, none of them speak english. If you afford it go for the breakfast, the sukiyaki, and the private hot tub; you won't regret. The public bqth is only open from 16h00 to 22h00. A Private hot tub is availqble for 2100 yen. Internet access through you rlqptop or viq their personal computer. Nice staff, helpfull. Would recommend for more than 1 night Lisa, from France ~ 18th Sep 2009

A bit above typical hostel price, but this place is definitely worth it. Nara is small enough that the location is alright (within reasonable walking distance of most popular spots). Our room was very large and included a nice bath, a TV, and even a small separate room for lounging around. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The "public" bath was also nice.
