My friend was robbed 500 pesos because the windows to our room did not lock. The hot water was unreliable, certain members of the staff were rude and/or unhelpful, there didn't seem to be a lock box for valuables - the staff would just put them in a cupboard that wasn't always attended. The hostel is located pretty close to the beach, but I would suggest staying elsewhere. There were EXTENSIVE renovations going on when we arrived, so the room we reserved was unavailable. We were given another room, which was pretty dank. The bedding was damp, the room kind of smelled a bit like mildew, and the toilet leaked onto the bathroom floor. Katie, from USA ~ 19th Feb 2009
