The price was great and the rooms were lovely, better than they look in the photos posted ! Also, it's within a short walking distance to eating places and laundry shops. Lisa is very helpful, cheerful and hospitable. The driver she recommended, Mr. Lee, is personable and very knowledgeable about every topic under the sun. Joseph, from Singapore ~ 17th Feb 2012

I've stayed in many hostels around the world, and this is hands down the best one.Lisa couldn't have been more helpful.The rooms were big and very clean. Short walk to the awesome night market and short cab ride to the beach.I would recommend Hualien 11 to anyone. Eric, from USA ~ 1st Aug 2011

Big, clean room with air condition.Clean bedsheets too!The owner, Lisa, is very helpful and hospitable.We didn't know that she provides pickup service from the train station, so we walked to her place instead.From the exterior, it is hard to tell that it is Hualien 11.So, if you would like to stay at her place, do give her a call so that she can pick you up in her big, black 7 seater!
