I put medium for security and location, because in the dark, I was a bit afraid of walking up the hill, if someone where hiding in the woods waiting to steal my things from me.Once at the hostel, though, I felt very safe! And I liked the lockers for each bed. Although the coffee wasn't the best, the rest of the breakfast was great! Kristen, from USA ~ 3rd Nov 2011

way far outside of Barcelona and requires a long and windy uphill walk. Clean and good accomodations, but I wouldn´t stay so far out again Lindsay, from USA ~ 1st Oct 2011

The hostel is very far (think a mini-hike) from the Metro Station, but it is absolutely fantastic besides that. The rooms are very clean, lockers are available at the foot of your bed, and most of the staff is very friendly. The complex even has a sports area complete with a pool. Wifi is available almost everywhere in the buildings, even in the dorms. Definitely worth the hike for the accommodations and price. Patrick, from USA ~ 30th Sep 2011

You have to climb up mountain from station to hostel. Bed linen was not included. Key deposit was 10 euros or some ID card. Locker in the room works with a 2-euro coin. The facilities were superb and fabulous. There are no shop in that area so that you have to take train to buy food or something. The available unlimited ride pass at ticket machine of nearby station was only for one day(not for two days or more). The guest kitchen was called "little kitchen", which opened 11am-1:30pm and 6pm-8:30 Makoto, from Japan ~ 15th Jun 2011

Inout hostel is very far from the city center of Barcelona, and is located in a remote area. The walk from the nearest train stop was long and up a steep hill, and was unsafe to walk at night considering the long walk, the hostel offered no shuttle service to and from the train stop. You are forced to walk through a busy restaurant in order to get to the rooms, which can be awkward. Staying at this inconvenient location made our trip to Barcelona much harder. Hostel would have been perfect if it not for the location. If you don´t have a heavy luggage then it would be a good place. Without a backpack or anything it´s actually not bad. The other thing is if you plan on staying out late at night the train stops running at about midnight and taxis don´t know how to get to this place. Other than the location, it was great. Good breakfast was a plus. Saul, from USA ~ 27th Jun 2011

INOUT has a very strange decor scheme. There is no air conditioning or even a fan in the hostel- it could have REALLY used a fan in the very humid mountains. They say they are "500 steps" from the metro- it is not quite that close and it's up a mountain. INOUT management seemed to be sort-of disorganized. Karen, from USA ~ 29th May 2011

It was a very nice place and a good value for money. It was a bit far from the city center but very well served by the tramway so it took only 10-15 minutes to get to the center. We had some noisy neighbors but apart from that the place was very quiet. The staff was also very helpful. Érika, from Canada ~ 22nd Apr 2011
