Great location, but that's probably all about good things. We called the owner more than 1 hr before, but the room wasn't prepared, when we came. The cleanliness of the sheets, pillows and blankets left much to be desired... The kitchen and bathrooms also didn't seem to be too much clean. No lockers in the room, just a weird lock in the doors, which didn't seem to be safe. The rest on average level. kamila, from Poland ~ 12th May 2012

As written in the description, you can see the hostel as your own flat and that´s how it is, like a shared flat: nice & informal atmosphere, but also occupied baths. Great, if you want to have good sleep and friendly treatment for an amazing price. Maria, from Germany ~ 5th Apr 2012

We have stayed for four nights in the guest house and had great time there. It is actually a big apartment with a 5 bedrooms, 2 shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen. The best thing about the guest house is the perfect location. It is in the old city of Valencia and everything is within walkable distance. The host is living nearby and is cleaning every day. He speaks English very well, which is important if you don't know Spanish. We'll definitely stay there again next time we are in Valenci Vasil, from Bulgaria ~ 28th Feb 2012

The hostel itself i thought was good, the manager/owner was lovely and accomodating HOWEVER, he was hard to get a hold of which left me waiting late at night outside the hostel for a considerable amount of time- this was my only issue as he is not always around and theres no permanent receptionist. but besides that. everything else was good!! amanda, from Australia ~ 3rd Sep 2011

The website stated air conditioning, tv, bar and resturaunt. None of these statements were true. The manager was never there. The place was not clean. Same dishes in the sink and garbage cans not emptied in the two nights we were there. You have to pay cash and call 30 min in advance of arrival. This is a nice guest-house (a very big apartment) placed in a very good location (historic center). The owner is really nice and it will help you with whatever you need. The kitchen and the toilet were clean while we stayed so I supposed that this depends on the people that are staying there in the same time with (regarding the previous reviews).
