Very nice hostel, well located, very close to the train station and main city attractions. Clean and comfortable. Very nice and helpful staff! But there's really not much fun or common areas to hangout, it's nice to get some rest. And only one pc to use - paid. But it's close to some internet café's. I would definitely stay there again. This hostel has perfect location. You can leave your hostel and you are right in the center of the city! Owner of this hostel will give you a city map and he marks a lot of interesting places/restaurants :) If we go to the Florence once again we will be very happy to stay in this hostel. Abbiamo prenotato all'International Student House Florence, ma non so per quale motivo la stanza ci è stata data a Il Ghiro (ostello quasi accanto) la stanza era ampia, ma il letto non era matrimoniale. La tapparella non si poteva chiudere e quindi non c'era modo di dormire al buio fuorchè la notte. I termosifoni sono stati accesi poco quindi abbiamo sofferto un po' il freddo. We stayed there 5 nights in September. I choose this hostel because the staffs were SUPPOSED to be really friendly. The only good thing the owner did was to point sites on a map and tell us about a good restaurant. In fact, the owner and his wife were rarely around – hopefully for us, because we had to share there bathroom, that was located in there kitchen, which was really annoying, because we felt like we were disturbing them.
