a very nice hostel with character, located a little off the beaten track but only 5 mins walk to Hornstulls metro station. Amazingly quiet to be located in a capital city. Beatiful nature trails right outside with great views overt the city centre. A big PLUS is the possibility to rent bicycles for a modest fee (150 SEK/day or 25 SEK/hour). nice one! beutiful surrondings, fresh air, no cars. at the same time it takes just 7 min to get to cosy Sodermalm with a number of little bars, art cinema and beutiful old school swimming pool built right on the lake. i just cant imagine how beautiful this place gets in summertime when you can canoe or take a swim on the island's beach! The hostel is like no other-it really has a character! My cell wasn’t very big, but there was everything I needed. The hostel was clean. There was a safe deposit box in my room. The staff was helpful but didn’t impose themselves. I wrote an e-mail on Sunday evening and they answered my questionson Monday morning.The hostel is quite far from Gamla Stan but you can walk the distance.The metro stationand a supermarket is close.The hostel is very big and you only meet people in the guestkitchen.
