Very, very nice hostel, excellent atmosphere, perfect location and helpful and nice staff. Only thing that was a little bit confusing was that we only had one key for the whole 8 people dorm. I guess that has something to do with the fact that the room was brand new. Talking about the new rooms, they are amazing very clean and spacious and the beds are almost like in a good hotel! This hostel is simply perfect. We are a couple from Minneapolis, Minnesota on winter break from university. Lisbon Home impressed us thoroughly with its charm, character and personality. The staff was helpful and friendly, the facilities were clean and up-to-date, and it was centrally located. Lisbon Home will leave an indelible mark on you. This hostel seems to be a good place for "party" people. The average of age was possibly at 23 years of age. The kitchen is good for cooking an well equiped. There is a small terrace where you can sit. In the moring it seems as if you have breakfast at the train station because the hostel is quite big and bussy. There are organised tours with Panchotours guiding you around for free. They even organise fado nights. It is a great option to get things to see in town. They there out!! Great hostel. Super friendly staff who answered all of my many questions with great detail, including exactly how to get from the hostel to various spots around the city and out to other towns as well. The lounge is lively but the noise isn't bad at all and they really make a point to tell people to stay quiet when near the bedrooms. They have a simple but nice breakfast included, free wifi and computers in the lobby, a great central location, and FREE laundry service. You heard me. They will do John, from USA ~ 2nd Jul 2011

This hostel is the absolute perfection!!!!! In my 22 day trip around western Europe, I stayed in 7 hostels, and this was the best!!!! GREAT STAFF, all of them were very helpful. They even had a cleaning lady with a smile on her face!!!!!!!!!!!!Nice clean rooms with large beds!!!! Perfect breakfast!!!! Very clean toilets!!!!Everything was perfect!
