It was far from ANYTHING that you might want to do, and it costs four pounds to do a single load of laundry, and the dryer didn't work. They charge for everything, including towel use.
The showers were always freezing, and you had to keep pushing the button otherwise it would turn off. The water pressure was bad, too. It was also hard to keep the curtains closed, so you're left naked, shivering, and wet with rough and expensive towers and soapy hair that won't quite rinse out.

This place has everything a hostel needs. Clean and quiet rooms. Exellent shower facilities. The social room is great for meeting people from all over the world. The staff is very friendly, funny and helpful. They have a TV-room/kitchen and bunch of videos. It is right next to Hendon Central, Middlesex University and all the little shops you need. The place is filled to the brink with backpackers from all over the world. I learned a lot about travelling in that kitchen. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE. An

- no windows in our room - no fresh air
- quite loud in the evening/night
- just 15 seconds warm water - annoying
- cleaning bathroom when everybody comes home and wants to take a shower
- no working can opener in the kitchen

It was really far from the center of London; about 45 minutes on the tube, which was a drag, cuz the tube is far from cheap. Really tacky and tasteless decor making fun of various national stereotypes. the staff seemed friendly and willing to help, however.
