Looming Hostel is a great place to stay in Tartu. Only one small inconvenience is its location - its about 15 minutes from the city centre. But it´s a pleasant walk through Tartu residential neighbourhoods. Otherwise it´s a lovely, very clean and friendly place. Their common area is very nicely furnished. There´s a fridge and cooking facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would come again. Julia, from Estonia ~ 10th Oct 2011

Looming hostel is run by a friendly owner who obviously cares about the quality of his guests' stay.The hostel is clean and friendly and has two lovely common areas - one of which is an outdoor balcony that is particularly lovely.The only downsides are that it is a bit outside of the city center (but not too far - about a 15 minute walk) and that the showers are four floors below the sleeping areas (although this seemed to be in the process of changing, and might not be the case by the time you Jacky, from USA ~ 20th Jul 2011
