It was much nicer than I thought because the rating was 63%. They have free breakfast (blueberry muffin & coffee/tea) and dinner (rice, nachos, two kinds of French fries & cake). It is not very healthy but better than nothing. The only problem is that you have to have staff fix your card key every single day. It didn't work very well. This hostel was clean new sheets and towels every day but other than that, there was not much going for it. The staff was always having personal conversations instead of helping customers. They locked me out of my room after a mistake (on their part) with billing. The location is a little sketchy, in Inglewood, and the restaurant/bar attached is an absolute disaster. Don't stay here if you want your personal belongings to be safe and you would like staff to actually answer your questions and smile. I had my whole handbag stolen, the dorm room was messy and you had no room. The whole night was freezing cold and there was no heating and we were only given one blanket. The staff was rude and not helpful at all. Our shuttle to the airport was 1 hour late. Bathrooms could have been cleaner. No kitchens to cook your own food. No free dinner as promised. The hostel seemed to be very nice, although I only stayed there for one night. There were very different people from families to groups of older and younger people as well as those travelling alone which made the place very interesting. It offered a bar, pool and computers. The dorm I was supposed to stay in should have been for 20 people, but actually the dorm were several rooms with about 4 beds each which I really liked. Daniela, from Germany ~ 12th Jan 2012

The location is good and price is considerable. However, staffs always look tired, frustrated and not willing to help. Also, it was hard to get shuttle from LAX because they has only one small white van and there are so many shuttles in LAX.So confusing. TAKETO, from USA ~ 9th Jan 2012
