Luna's Castle Hostel in Hvar, Panama

Luna's is in a great location at the entry to Casco Viejo, the colonial city that is gritty but full of character, before it gets gentrified. The main part of Panama city by contrast is ignorable and corporate!The views are million-dollar quality to die for.The upper floors are breezy, so keeping cool is not a problem. The place is huge and busy, and a crowded noisy basement bar, but the rooms are quiet.The staff is extra helpful with laundry, airport transfer, internet and the like. David, from USA ~ 4th Mar 2012

I thought that Luna's Castle was an amazing experience.I loved the location - great restaurants, cafes and sights in close walking distance.Directly next door are two little cafes, which were great for late night snacks/drinks as you do not want to travel too far on foot alone after dark (in my opinion, I waams a girl traveling solo!). The staff was super friendly and helpful with advice, directions, taxi booking, etc. as were the people staying there. In the morning there is free pancak Kristina, from USA ~ 8th Oct 2011
