We would even want to leave some different comment comparing to others, but that was the best week in 2012 for us and it was made really great by the Mamas&Papas hostel. Everything is great and we definitely recommend this hostel to others. Some may think, that the location of the hostel is not really great, but the public transport in Gdansk works fine and we never had any issues with it. Alexander, from Belarus ~ 1st May 2012

We were a couple in a double room staying 4 nights and are very happy with the stay. Mama and Papa and their family run hostel is very kozy and all workers have charisma. Furthermore, a calm and friendly atmosphere makes you feel at home. The service is over the top, flexible breakfast times with a well provided breakfast and additional soup from papa in the evening if your lucky! The soup is very good! This is the best hostel I have ever experienced! Thanks Papa and his delicious soup which made me a feeling of home. If you are preparing to go to Gdansk, Mamas & Papas is no doubt the best choice. The staff in this hostel was cool, laidback and really friendly. I love the relaxed atmosphere in this hostel, nice music in the living room. Clean bathrooms and nice bedrooms and good breakfast. Very good and new hostel. Location is also good as there are some busses going to nearby bus stop (only 6 stops from old town). There is also a small park next to the hostel. The hostel itself is in a quiet neighbourhood. The hostel is inside a one family house with a small garden behind. The staff is very friendly and they even want to offer a city walking tour (ask for it, maybe the have prepared one in between). Our room was clean and very nice furnished. Mamas & Papas Hostel is a very nice hostel! There's a big garden and clean and cozy rooms. The staff is very friendly, warm and helpfull. It's a very good place for women travelling alone. Safe and it feels at home. Busses nearby to the city centre (about 7 minutes) I surely will advise you to go to this hostel when you visit Gdansk! This lovely hostel is run by wonderful people. The location is close enough to the city-center, near a nice park. Rooms are bright and painted i nice colours. The bathrooms are cleaned several times a day. The breakfast is of rather low standard, but o.k. We can recommend this hostel to all and everyone, especially families with children.
