nice place, good location near the center of the city, staff was ok but didn't seem to know basic information like how much would it cost to take the local bus (something you would expect them to know), free dinner every night a plus elaine, from USA ~ 19th Jan 2010

I can only say good things about Marco Polo, the hostel is clean and friendly, the free food is ok and you have to remember it is free! The staff were very helpful especially Lillie, who answered every question i asked. We had booked a dorm for 2 nights but they couldntfind our booking so as the only roon left was a 3 bedroom room they put us up in that but still only charged us for a dorm. Marco Polo Inn in Bariloche is a great party hostel conveniently located by the centre of town with plenty of excursions to explore the local area. The bar is big and open late with a pool table (good for smokers and partiers) and the rooms are big, new and clean. The only draw back is their are not enough staff to cope with the volume of traveller so checking in and service are slow. Stephen, from England ~ 14th Feb 2010

This place had everything we needed. The bathrooms are slightly eastern block (!) but it was absolutely fine and a relaxing haven from the travel and heat. One of the staff kindly accompanied us to the police station following an incident to act as interpreter, which was kind.
